From Artwork to Finished Mug
Every custom mug starts with your artwork, logo, photo, message, or design idea. We determine the best printing approach based on colours, placement, and the type of mug being decorated.
Using specialized porcelain printing technology, we create ceramic artwork that can be applied to areas most mug printers cannot print — including inside mug walls, inside bottoms, outside bottoms, handles, and full wraps.
Each printed film is carefully hand-applied by our production team before the mug moves into kiln firing.
Kiln-Fired for Permanent Results
After the ceramic artwork is applied, each mug is fired in a commercial kiln at high temperature. During this kiln-firing process, the artwork bonds into the porcelain surface rather than simply sitting on top.
That is what makes our custom mug printing different from temporary surface decoration or many standard mug-printing methods. The result is a durable, food-safe mug designed for repeated everyday use and long-term enjoyment.

Where We Can Print on a Mug
Most mug printers only decorate the outside surface. Our kiln-fired custom mug printing process allows decoration in multiple areas depending on the mug shape, artwork, and project requirements — including locations many mug printers simply cannot print.
- Outside mug printing and full wraps — all of our mugs can be printed on the outside, but not every mug shape is ideal for a complete wraparound image. Panoramic artwork, scenic photography, Niagara Falls scenes, wide branding layouts, or full-wrap designs work best on straighter, more symmetrical mug styles such as C-handle mugs, stackable mugs, jumbo mugs, and select straight-wall mug designs where the printable area is less tapered or curved.
- Inside mug wall printing — artwork, logos, hidden details, patterns, memorial messages, or surprise elements visible while drinking.
- Inside bottom printing — ideal for hidden messages, logos, reveal-style artwork, memorial text, jokes, QR codes, or a message waiting at the bottom of the mug.
- Outside bottom / underside printing — ideal for branding, websites, backstamps, collector information, commemorative details, or private messaging.
- Handle printing — personalized names, initials, logos, short messages, restaurant branding, or custom handle decoration.
- Under-handle hidden printing — a premium specialty option where small messages, websites, initials, names, or hidden details are placed underneath the handle where fingers naturally rest while holding the mug.
